Lakeview Design & Construction, Inc. was started in 1985 as Seattle Solarium by Bob Dorres and Rollin Francisco. Both have degrees in architecture from The University of Washington and extensive background in energy conservation solar greenhouses, and specialty glazing. However, this developed a real passion for the whole process of remodeling from design through completion. In 2005, Rollin Francisco left Lakeview Design & Construction to pursue other interests. Bob Dorres is now joined by his son, Daniel, who has worked for Lakeview Design & Construction in various capacities since high school and is now a project manager.

Lakeview Design & Construction has consistently won Excellence in remodeling awards, winning categories like:

The great majority of our remodeling business every year is repeat and referral. Our previous customers continue to trust us and to have confidence in our ability to perform for their friends.

In a typical year, we will do one story major remodels, several kitchens, numerous baths, a basement remodel and a deck or two. Our goal has always been to put the utmost focus and care into your remodel!
